Another day in Tuscany

We just returned from a country dinner in Casanuevo del'Abate. We had an amazing ribolitta followed by contorni of rosemary roasted potatoes, cannilini  beans in oligio and antipasti misto with pecorino, porchetta, salami, coppa colla along with plenty of bread and vino di casa and followed by an Italian prune crostini (tart).  Mamma Mia!

We had a very relaxing day hanging around Poggio di Soppra.  Walking the grounds,doing laundry, reading and laughing with friends.  We are not sure about tomorrow but have several options.  A trip to Pienza or a hike to Monalcino or maybe another day of soaking up Tuscan sunshine.  Good night for now.
